What to expect on volatility
Scenario A: LPR unchanged and ZEW close to expectations - the day passes calmly, and movement concentrates in individual stocks after earnings.
Scenario B: a notable deviation in ZEW or ADP - sharp impulses in the euro, pound and indices already in the European session and another spike after 23:05.
Do you hold a position when there are twelve releases?
A day where data comes out every two hours is either your bread or your downfall. Prop firms have very different rules on this: some allow trading right at the moment statistics are released, others require positions to be closed two minutes before the release. This line is what decides whether the account survives after a winning trade. It makes sense to check before a Tuesday like this, not after being switched off.
