Official trading rules and prohibited practices

Evaluation format

Vanta Trading uses a one-step model. There is no second stage: the trader buys an evaluation, meets the profit target and receives a funded account.
The All Markets format - cryptocurrencies, forex, commodities, indices and stocks are available simultaneously on a single account, over 1,000 instruments. There are no separate challenges for individual markets.
Classic account sizes - $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000. Instant Funded is sold separately: $25,000, $50,000 or $100,000 without an evaluation, 80/20 split, from $750. The limit of 50 spots for Instant Funded registration no longer exists.
Instant Funded: daily limit of 3% of equity at the start of the day and a trailing limit of 5% or 8% of the equity high at the end of the day (selected at registration); breaching either one closes the account. The Pro challenge is optional and selected at registration: size 2.5x, 5x or 10x the account, up to $1,000,000; after passing it, a trailing 8% and a daily limit of 5% apply.
There is no time limit for completion. The tier of an active evaluation cannot be upgraded - only a new purchase is available. Separate trading access is issued for each evaluation, and identity verification is not required at the evaluation stage.

Profit target

The target is 10% of the purchased account size and is the same for all tiers: as the account grows, only the dollar amount increases. On a $25,000 account the target is $2,500, on a $100,000 account - $10,000.
The evaluation ends either upon reaching the target or upon breaching the loss limit. There is no minimum number of trading days, and no maximum either.

Loss limits

Two limits apply, both based on equity including unrealized results: a static 5% of the starting balance and a daily 3% or 5% of the balance at the start of the day (UTC). The daily limit is selected at purchase, 3% by default.
Rule 1, static limit - equity must not at any moment be below the starting balance by more than 5%.
Rule 2, daily limit - equity must not drop below the balance at the start of the day (UTC) by more than 3% or 5%, depending on the choice at purchase.
Both rules apply equally on the evaluation and on the funded account. On a $10,000 account the threshold is $9,500 and remains unchanged even if the balance grows to $11,000.
Example - a $50,000 account, static limit threshold $47,500. Closed trades produced a loss of $1,800, open positions show minus $900: equity $47,300, rule 1 is breached.

Consequences of a breach

Breaching either of the two rules at the evaluation stage means immediate disqualification, on the funded account - account closure.
Resumption is impossible: there is no recovery and no free retries, a new attempt is possible only by purchasing a new evaluation.
Activity requirement - at least one trade every 60 days is required; if there is not a single trade for 60 consecutive days, the account is closed.

Funded account conditions

The account is activated immediately after reaching the target. The profit target is removed, both limits remain.
Rewards are paid weekly from eligible PnL: profit minus past losses and past payouts, the same profit is not paid twice.
The trader's share is selected at purchase: 60/40, 70/30, 80/20, 90/10 or 100/0, 100% by default. It cannot be changed on an active account.

Scaling program

The transfer to Grow is automatic when the results qualify, without an application or fee. Fast track - a profit of 10% on the scale account, counted from its starting size ($110,000 on a $100,000 account), including open positions, gives 3x. Stable track - at least 60 full days from the first trade, balance and equity more than 3% above the starting size ($103,000 on $100,000), Calmar of 1.5 or more and no single day accounting for more than 50% of total return (each day counts as no more than 1.5%) gives 5x, and with Calmar of 2.0 or more - 10x.
The maximum Pro account size is $1,000,000 of demo capital; the size is determined by the first track triggered (3x, 5x or 10x) and does not change thereafter.

Bonus program

During Grow, the weekly reward is calculated from the Pro account's return applied to the Classic account size and is doubled. For example, 1% on a Classic $100,000 gives $2,000. The bonus applies only during Grow.
Grow (trade like a Pro) - the stage after the auto-upgrade: at least 90 days, a 6% target, Calmar over the entire period of 1.75 or more, a daily limit of 5% of equity at the start of the day, a trailing 8% of the equity high at the end of the day. No single day may account for more than 20% of total return (no more than 1.5% per day counts), and a martingale detector is in effect. Breaching the daily or trailing limit - disqualification.

Leverage

The platform expresses leverage through buying power - the share of the balance that can be used. Each order is checked against three limits simultaneously and is executed only if all three are met: the limit per individual position, the asset class limit and the overall portfolio limit. The check is performed automatically.
For Classic, the limits are the same on the evaluation and on the funded account. Asset class limit: cryptocurrencies 10x, forex 30x, commodities 6x, indices 8x, stocks 4x.
Limit per individual instrument (Classic): BTC and ETH 7x, DOGE, SOL and XRP 4x, other cryptocurrencies 1.5x; forex AUDUSD, EURUSD, USDCAD and USDCHF 25x, crosses AUDNZD, EURNZD, GBPNZD, NZDCAD, NZDCHF and NZDJPY 10x, other pairs 20x; commodities COPPER, GOLD, NATGAS and WTIOIL 6x, PLATINUM and SILVER 4x; indices SP500 and XYZ100 8x, EWY 3x; stocks 2x.
The overall Classic portfolio limit is 40x. On Pro the limits are higher: cryptocurrencies 12x, forex 40x, commodities 8x, indices 10x, stocks 6x, portfolio 50x.
The overall portfolio limit is strictly less than the sum of the class limits, so it is impossible to select the maximum for each class at the same time.
The transfer to Grow and then to Pro is free and automatic when the account results qualify; it is available for all Classic sizes from $5,000 to $100,000, and cannot be declined.

Instruments

Cryptocurrencies - 34 perpetual contracts against USDC: BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP, DOGE, ADA, AVAX, LINK, DOT, TRX, LTC, TAO, SUI, ARB, NEAR, ALGO, ASTER, UNI, AAVE, CRV, HYPE, XMR, ZEC, ENA, ZRO, WLD, PUMP, kPEPE, BCH, HBAR, XLM, kSHIB, CC. The market operates around the clock, seven days a week.
Forex - 28 pairs: seven majors with the dollar, six crosses with the yen, five crosses with the euro, four with the pound and six crosses of the Australian, New Zealand and Canadian dollars. Trading around the clock, five days a week.
Commodities - 6 instruments: gold, silver, copper, platinum, WTI oil and natural gas.
Indices - 17 instruments in two forms: three perpetual futures (S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, MSCI South Korea) and fourteen index and international ETFs that trade as spot stocks and are subject to the "stocks" class conditions.
Stocks - over 1,000 spot securities selected from the Russell 1000 and broader, plus 36 ETFs (22 sector and 14 index) and 20 perpetual futures on the largest American names. Spot and futures are subject to different financing costs. Trading in the standard session, from 9:30 to 16:00 New York time.

Trading costs

Commission by asset class - cryptocurrencies 0.03%, stocks 0.01%, commodities 0.005%; index futures and forex commission-free, the cost is built into the spread.
Position carry fee - for Hyperliquid instruments (cryptocurrencies, commodities, index futures, stock futures) a funding fee at Hyperliquid rates, charged on both long and short positions; for forex a swap of 3% per annum every 24 hours; for spot stocks 6.6% per annum on borrowed funds and 3% per annum for borrowing securities on short positions, debited at 00:00 UTC.
Commissions and the carry fee reduce the balance and directly affect both loss limits.

Quotes and slippage

Quote sources - cryptocurrencies, commodities, index futures and stock futures from Hyperliquid; forex from Massive (formerly Polygon); spot stocks from Databento and Massive.
Forex slippage - 1 basis point on major pairs with the dollar in the window from 17:00 to 18:00 New York time and 0.5 points during other hours; on other pairs 2 and 1 points respectively.
For spot stocks the BB+ (Bloomberg+) model is applied, for Hyperliquid instruments the calculation is based on the exchange order book.

Permitted practices

Algorithmic trading - advisors and bots are allowed provided the strategy belongs to the trader. Each account runs its own strategy: mirroring trades or opening opposing positions on one's own accounts is prohibited.
Trading during news releases is not restricted.
Holding positions overnight and over the weekend is allowed on all markets.
No more than three accounts are active at the same time per person: Classic at $50,000 or $100,000, Classic at $5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 and one Instant Funded; each Classic can be transferred to Grow if the results qualify.
There is no consistency rule and no daily profit cap: any share of the result can be earned in a single day.

Prohibited practices

Trading on others' signals, using third-party copy-trading services and strategies that do not belong to the trader. A violation results in immediate disqualification from the evaluation or the funded account.

Purchasing an evaluation

Payment methods - bank cards and bank transfers via Stripe, cryptocurrency via NowPayments with support for over 50 assets. Payment via PayPal is stated as being prepared.
Refund - if there has not been a single trade, the fee can be refunded via support; upon successful completion the fee is not refunded: it is a participation fee, not a deposit. The fee covers the infrastructure on which trading results are verified.

Platform status

Vanta is a technology platform, not a broker or a prop firm. The company does not accept client deposits and does not act as the counterparty to the trader's trades.
All trading is conducted in a simulated environment on Vanta Network's decentralized infrastructure.

Challenges

Terms, schedule and withdrawal methods

1. Profit distribution

The trader receives a profit share according to the split chosen at purchase: 60/40, 70/30, 80/20, 90/10 or 100/0 (100% by default). Instant Funded has an 80/20 split. During Grow the reward is doubled - see the bonus program.

2. Frequency

Settlements are made weekly, every 7 days, based on eligible PnL: profit minus past losses and payouts, the same profit is not paid twice. The first cycle starts from the day the evaluation is passed, and for Instant Funded - from the day of registration.

3. Payment method

Bank transfer in US dollars via Stripe or USDC on blockchain. Every payout is published in a public payout registry.

4. Minimum amount

There is no minimum payout threshold - any amount of realized profit is available for transfer.

5. Processing procedure

Payout processing is currently performed manually; automated processing is stated as forthcoming.

6. Identity verification

Standard KYC verification via Stripe is mandatory upon activation of the funded account and is a condition for receiving payouts. KYC is not required to start an evaluation.

7. Transition to the funded account

The account is activated immediately after reaching the 10% target; no additional verification of the trading result is performed.

8. Grounds for withholding a payout

A payout may be withheld if a violation of the platform's rules or policies is established. Breaching either of the two loss limits closes the account.

If all rules are observed, the reward is transferred exactly in the calculated amount, without changes or delays.

9. Payout verification

Every reward is published in a public payout registry. USDC payouts can be verified on blockchain, bank transfers go through Stripe and are not verifiable on blockchain. Traders' results are assessed by validators of the Vanta network.
