News

Official trading rules and prohibited practices

Risk Management:• Maximum risk per trading idea on Funded accounts — 2% of the initial balance.

On Rapid Pro Way and Prime Way accounts, the maximum risk per trading idea is 1% of the initial balance.
On Rapid Pro Way and Prime Way, the total floating loss on all open positions must not exceed 1%.
When the 1% floating loss limit is reached, the company may automatically close positions to protect capital.
Trading Idea — trades on one instrument opened in the same direction if no more than 60 minutes pass between entries and exits.
The risk of all trades within one trading idea is summed up.
If the Stop Loss was changed, the risk is calculated based on the maximum distance to the Stop Loss over the entire life of the trade.

Limit Violations and Sanctions:

Funded accounts, 2% rule: first violation — Soft Breach, second — Hard Breach with possible disqualification.
Profit from the violating trade may be removed; losses remain on the trader's account.
Rapid Pro Way: first violation of the trading idea or floating loss limit — Soft Breach, profit share may be reduced to 40%, profit may be annulled.
Rapid Pro Way: second violation — Hard Breach, disqualification, and loss of trading access.
Rapid Pro Way: reduction of profit share and removal of profit are applied separately or simultaneously, depending on the nature of the violation.
Prime Way: there is no Soft Breach stage — the first violation is considered a Hard Breach and leads to immediate disqualification.

Drawdowns:

Daily drawdown 3% — Starter Way, Swift Way, Swift PRO Way, Rapid Way, Rapid PRO Way.
Daily drawdown 5% — Straight Way, PRO Way.
Daily drawdown 2% — Prime Way.
The day's starting value is fixed daily at 17:00 New York time.
The larger value between balance and equity is used as the basis.
Both closed and floating losses are considered in the daily drawdown.

The static drawdown never changes and is always calculated from the initial balance.
The static drawdown applies to Starter Way, Straight Way, Swift Way, Swift PRO Way, and PRO Way.
Static drawdown size: 6% — Starter Way, Swift Way, Swift PRO Way; 10% — Straight Way and PRO Way.
Prime Way also has a static drawdown of 6%, despite the instant funding model.
Rapid Way accounts use a 6% Trailing Drawdown.
The trailing drawdown limit grows as profit increases and never decreases with subsequent losses.
After reaching the initial balance level, the trailing drawdown limit is fixed forever.
Rapid Pro Way accounts use Smart Drawdown — fixed earlier, at -3% of the initial balance, providing more room for recovery.
A drawdown violation is considered to have occurred when Equity or Balance reaches the set level — the account is considered in violation immediately.

News Trading:

During the Challenge stage, news trading is fully allowed without restrictions.
On Funded accounts, it is prohibited to open trades within 5 minutes before the release of important economic news (High Impact News).
On Funded accounts, it is prohibited to manually close trades within 5 minutes after the news release.
During the ±5 minute restricted window, it is prohibited to manually modify Take Profit, Stop Loss, and pending orders.
If TP or SL were set in advance and triggered automatically during the restricted period — this is allowed.
Profit from trades opened, closed, or modified during the restricted news window is annulled; losses remain fully with the trader.

Allowed Styles:

manual trading;
Layering — position building, no more than three entries on one currency pair;
holding positions overnight;
holding positions over the weekend;
news trading during the Challenge stage;
VPN and VPS for a stable connection, provided the IP address remains constant.

Expert Advisors (EA):

The use of trading advisors and algorithmic systems is allowed.
Risk management advisors are allowed: automatic SL/TP setting, moving stop to breakeven, trailing stop, partial position closing.
Signal and notification systems are allowed if the trader makes the decisions to open and close trades themselves.
Martingale, Grid, and averaging are allowed provided the advisor belongs to the trader and does not copy trades from other accounts.
Advisors using latency arbitrage, erroneous quotes, or order execution failures are prohibited.
Before using an advisor on a Funded account, you must notify the company and provide the name, purpose, operating principle, as well as the source code or compiled file.

Identical or highly correlated trading patterns on different accounts are considered trade copying.
The company monitors order frequency and trading behavior: excessive system load or correlated trading between accounts may lead to an investigation, payment delays, or account restrictions.
The trader is fully responsible for all actions of the advisor — violations committed by the algorithm are considered violations by the trader.

Trade Copying:

During the Challenge stage, copying between accounts belonging to the same trader is allowed.
Copying from a The Funded Way challenge account to an external broker or another prop company account is allowed if all accounts belong to the same owner.
The Funded Way account must always be the source of signals (Master); using it as a signal receiver (Slave) is prohibited.
On Funded accounts, trade copying is completely prohibited without exception.
Social copy trading via Telegram, Discord, and any trading signal services is prohibited.
Trade copying programs are allowed only if they fully belong to the trader, are used exclusively during the Challenge stage, and are not connected to third-party copying networks.
Violation of copying rules leads to immediate Challenge failure or Funded account closure, loss of payout rights, and a permanent ban from The Funded Way programs.

Prohibited Practices:

hedging — opening opposite positions on the same account or on different accounts;
One-Side Betting — about 80% or more of trades on one instrument in one direction;
latency arbitrage — using quote delays for guaranteed profit;
tick scalping;
exploiting price gaps and erroneous quotes;
exploiting trading platform and order execution errors — stuck or negative spreads;
Order Book Spamming — splitting one large order into many small ones for an execution advantage;
trades closed in less than 2 minutes may be reviewed if systematic: profit adjustment or exclusion, payment delay, or account restriction are possible.

VPN and Security:

VPN and VPS are allowed for a stable connection, provided the IP address remains constant.
Using a VPN to bypass regional restrictions leads to immediate account closure without refund.
Frequent changes of IP addresses or VPN locations may trigger a security check and temporary account blocking.
Public and shared VPN services, as well as data center proxies to hide the real location, are prohibited.
Sharing VPN, VPS, or trading account access with third parties leads to immediate account closure.
When traveling to another country or changing regions, you must notify support in advance.
In case of suspicious activity, the company may request additional identity verification: ID, video verification, or trading terminal screenshots.

Commissions and Swaps (Raw Spread accounts):

forex and metals commission — 5 USD per lot;
indices and oil commission — 0 USD per lot;
cryptocurrency commission — 0.1% of trade volume;
forex and indices swap — 10 USD per lot;
metals swap — 50 USD per lot;
oil swap — 10 USD per lot;
cryptocurrency swap — 0.012% every 8 hours;
spread widening, commissions, and swap charges on carried positions — the trader's responsibility.

Account Verification:

The risk management department does not check accounts daily.
Verification is carried out after successfully passing the challenge or when requesting a payout.

Challenges

Terms, schedule and withdrawal methods

After receiving a funded account, the trader can request payouts every 14 days.

To receive a payout, you must have at least 3 profitable trading days (>0.5% of the initial balance) in the corresponding payout period.
There is also an 8-Day Payout option that allows you to shorten the standard payout waiting period.

Instant Funding

On Instant Funding accounts, a payout can be requested after meeting the requirement of 5 profitable trading days (>0.5% of the initial balance).
After meeting this condition, the trader can submit a payout request.
