$133 million stolen from a project in Europe passed through the Kraken crypto exchange: accounts frozen

Kraken has restricted access to some accounts while an investigation is underway: assets allegedly stolen from one of the crypto projects in Europe arrived on the platform. The amount in question is more than $133 million; the name of the affected project is not disclosed.

Analytics firm TRM Labs linked the Binance hack "with high confidence" to the TraderTraitor group - the FBI's name for North Korean state hackers, who are classified as part of the Lazarus Group. This is four times more than the $1.5 billion stolen from Bybit in February 2025.
