OPEC+ leaves December production unchanged — oil price depends on demand and inventories

The OPEC+ alliance (an association of oil-exporting countries led by Saudi Arabia and Russia that regulates production volumes and thereby influences world prices) decided on November 1 not to change production quotas for December. The next meeting is on November 29.

IEA accelerates reserve sell-off: up to 100 million barrels could pressure oil prices

IEA countries have decided to accelerate the release of oil and petroleum products from state reserves. If the entire previously promised but not yet realized volume reaches the market, additional supply could amount to up to 100 million barrels.
