Cboe and Citadel go to court to demand the annulment of perpetual futures on US stocks

The Capital Markets Alliance, backed by the Cboe exchange, market maker Citadel Securities and the Healthy Markets Association, has filed a lawsuit in the federal court for the Southern District of New York. It demands the annulment of the CFTC decision that on November 3 opened trading in perpetual futures on individual stocks in the US for the first time.

DTCC launches tokenization: 34 securities, 20 participants, $114 trillion under custody

On October 28, The Depository Trust Company (DTC) - the main US depository, through which clearing of trades on NASDAQ passes - activated the DTCC Tokenization Service. Traditional stocks and bonds can now be converted into tokens on a blockchain and sent to digital wallets while retaining the same ownership rights.
