Spotware has launched cAntifraud — a shared network for exchanging signals about suspicious traders. The Cyprus-based company, developer of the cTrader platform, announced the service on November 4. Now a flag set by one broker or one prop firm is visible to all connected participants.

What it is. cAntifraud is a database of signals about traders that companies fill in together. A standard subscription costs $999 per month.

Why this concerns traders. Previously, a claim from one company stayed within it. Now it reaches the other participants in the network.

What has changed in checks?

Before: the risk department saw only its own accounts. Now: participants exchange anonymized encrypted data and receive a signal when a trader has been flagged by someone else; each sees only their own records.

The check happens in two stages:

  1. At registration. This includes identity verification.
  2. During trading. The system looks at trade execution time, connections between accounts and coordinated actions.
  3. Flagging. The stated time for recording suspicious activity is up to 15 minutes.

Why do companies need this?

Multi-account schemes have already cost the market dearly. In March 2025, prop firm PipFarm reported that it had uncovered a group of about 800 traders. They opened opposite positions at different prop firms to take profit on any market movement.

Ruben Abitbol, former head of trading and risk at The5ers, said that fewer than 1% of a prop firm's traders can bankrupt it if they are not found in time.

The service's goals differ for the two types of clients:

  • For prop firms — challenge farming, off-account hedging and rule violations.
  • For brokers — quote latency arbitrage and multi-accounting.

What does this mean for a trader?

The decision remains with the company. cAntifraud cannot block a trader or deny a payout: it provides the materials, the company itself makes the decision, and any dispute will have to be with it.

Hence a simple conclusion for working with accounts:

  • The rules matter more than promises. The terms on linked accounts should be read before paying, checking the rules in the catalog.
  • A signal goes beyond one company. A claim at one network participant becomes visible to the others.

What's next?

Until December 31, the subscription costs $250 per month instead of $999, with the rate fixed for 12 months.

This is Spotware's third product in 2026:

  1. cBridge. Liquidity bridge, March.
  2. cFinancial. September.
  3. cAntifraud. November.

A competitor already exists. A similar network, PropShield by Centroid Solutions, has been running since June 2025, but only for prop firms. Spotware brings both brokers and prop firms into a single circuit, and connects to MT5 via an API.

Do you hold accounts at two prop firms at once?

A couple of accounts at different companies is a working scheme for many. Somewhere a trader takes metals, somewhere indices. This is interpreted differently: some allow it freely, others treat linked accounts and similar trades as grounds to close both. Such clauses are in the rules, not in the promotional description. In the catalog, companies' rules stand side by side, and the wording can be checked before paying for an evaluation, rather than in correspondence with support.
