Goat Funded Trader has launched a separate prop firm for prediction markets. The project is called Goat Funded Predictions and operates on the Kalshi platform. It calls itself the first prop firm on prediction markets.

What is traded there. Not currency pairs, but contracts on the outcome of events. An event contract is a bet on a single question with a single answer: a price from 0 to 100 cents shows the probability of the outcome. Kalshi is an American platform where such contracts are bought and sold.

Why this concerns a trader. The selection scheme is the same as in a regular prop: you pay for the challenge, meet the target, and get a share of the profit. Only the instrument changes.

How much does the evaluation cost?

Prices come with a discount off the base rates, and the contract limit per event grows with the nominal.

  • $25,000 - $79 instead of $110, limit of 1,250 contracts per event
  • $50,000 - $149 instead of $200, limit of 2,500 contracts
  • $100,000 - $249 instead of $449, limit of 4,000 contracts

1,200+ markets are claimed: politics, crypto, macro, sports, entertainment.

What are the evaluation rules?

The conditions are the same for all three nominals.

  1. Profit target of 8%. It must be met in a single phase.
  2. Overall loss limit of 3.5%. It is trailing and moves up as the account grows.
  3. Daily limit of 2%. Calculated from the balance at the start of the day.
  4. 120-day term. After that, the account expires without a refund of the fee.
  5. Consistency rule. A single day cannot generate more than 35% of the profit at the time of a payout request.
  6. Position restrictions. No more than 30 positions may be open at the same time, and only events priced up to 85 cents may be taken.

How much can you actually withdraw?

The trader's share is 80% of net profit. Payouts every 14 days, with funds sent within 72 hours via Rise or crypto.

But there is a withdrawal cap per cycle.

  • $750 - on a $25,000 account
  • $1,250 - on a $50,000 account
  • $2,500 - on a $100,000 account
Key point: the 8% target looks lenient, but the per-cycle cap and the 35% single-day rule determine real income more than the evaluation price.

What should you watch out for?

There are inconsistencies in the documents. The minimum number of trading days in the rules table is 5, while in the FAQ section it is 3.

  • Drawdown. In one place it is described as trailing, in another as fixed at the starting balance
  • Warning. Withdrawing profit below the starting balance closes the account

Before paying, it is worth comparing the terms with other offers in the prop firm catalog and choosing a challenge to suit your style.

Trading events, not charts?

If you are already in the market around macro data releases, the idea of taking the outcome of the event itself with a contract looks familiar. The format is new, but the questions are old: the term, the drawdown, how much you can actually withdraw. The 8% target sounds lenient until you hit the $750 per-cycle cap and the 35% single-day rule. Such figures matter more than the evaluation price on the banner. The terms of different prop firms are easier to compare when they are all in one place.
