Prop firm PipFarm has removed the fixed cap on the amount of a single withdrawal. Previously, a trader could not withdraw more than $5,000 per cycle. Now the limit is calculated as a percentage and increases with each payout.
The payout limit is a restriction on the amount a trader can withdraw from a funded account at one time. Under the old rules, the remaining profit stayed in the company's account.
For the trader, this is about the speed of access to profit. The more payouts have already been made, the more can be withdrawn next time.
How does the new limit work?
The scheme is simple. The ceiling is expressed as a percentage and grows in steps of one point for each payout.
- $5,000 - the old hard maximum per single withdrawal, now abolished
- 1 percentage point - added to the limit after each successful payout
- No upper limit - the company has not publicly announced one
The details were left out. PipFarm did not specify exactly what the percentage is calculated from.
Who announced this and when?
The change was announced by James Glyde, CEO of PipFarm. He made the announcement in a live stream. The new rules took effect on November 1, 2026.
- Cutoff date. The rules apply only to accounts purchased from November 1.
- Old accounts. Accounts paid for earlier are not covered by the change - they keep the previous ceiling.
Key point: if an account was purchased before November 1, its $5,000 limit has not changed.
What is being prepared next?
PipFarm is developing a paid add-on. It will allow raising the limit of the first payout to 4% or 5%.
- No launch date - the company has not named one
- No price either - it is currently impossible to calculate the real cost of an account with this option
Context. The company already operates a system of rewards for trading stages. As it progresses, a higher profit share, a lower minimum withdrawal amount, increased leverage and more frequent payouts are unlocked.
There are four programs in the lineup:
- Two-step evaluation. A classic two-stage scheme.
- One-step with static drawdown. The loss limit is fixed.
- One-step with trailing drawdown. The limit moves with the balance.
- Instant funding. An account with no evaluation stages.
You can compare these options with the terms of other companies in the prop firm catalog, and choose a format to suit your trading via the challenge calculator.
Did you read the payout terms before buying an account?
The withdrawal ceiling is noticed at the most unpleasant moment. The profit is already there, but you can't withdraw it in full. And edits like this almost always apply only to new accounts, not yours. That is why prop firms should be compared by their current payout rules, minimum amounts and timelines, not by promises on a landing page. In the catalog, these parameters sit side by side, and you can see who actually changed what.
