Binance has again opened withdrawals for some tokens, including UNI and AAVE. The release came out on the morning of November 5 at around 08:00 Moscow time. Access is granted across several withdrawal networks at once.
UNI is the token of the decentralized exchange Uniswap. AAVE is the token of the lending protocol Aave. The withdrawal network is the blockchain through which a coin leaves the exchange for an external wallet.
Why this matters to a trader. While withdrawals are closed, you cannot take the coin off the exchange, even if it is held as collateral for positions.
How exactly is access being opened?
The exchange's wording is "will gradually resume." The list of assets and networks is being expanded in batches, not all at once.
- Several networks for one token - they do not open simultaneously
- The same coin - may be available on one network and closed on another
- You need to check your own network, not just the asset name
How did it all begin?
This is a continuation of the story we wrote about on November 3. Back then, Binance opened the second stage of withdrawals after the $6.34 billion hack.
- The $6.34 billion hack. After it, the exchange halted withdrawals.
- Second stage, November 3. Some assets became available again.
- New batch, November 5. The list includes UNI, AAVE and other tokens.
What to do before transferring?
Check the status of the specific "coin + network" pair. This is the main action before withdrawing.
Key point: a closed withdrawal on one network does not mean the asset is blocked entirely. And conversely - an open token does not guarantee that your network is already working.
When will everything open?
The exchange did not give a timeframe for the full return of all assets. There is only one reference point - the next Binance releases with lists.
- Follow the exchange's releases - there are no other dates
- Keep a plan in case of a block - withdrawals may be closed at the moment you need them
- Compare alternatives in the prop firm catalog if you trade with someone else's capital
Were you holding positions while withdrawals were closed?
A week when some assets cannot be withdrawn quickly explains what single-platform risk means. In prop trading, the company holds the capital and infrastructure. The trader is left with discipline and loss limits. But the conditions of the programs differ: some trade a dozen coins, others the entire spot and futures list. The rules for carrying positions overnight also do not match. These points are checked before paying, not after the first block.
