Binance is once again taking in more money than it pays out: net inflow over 24 hours was $1.82 billion. But over the week, $11.832 billion left the exchange, and this daily plus does not offset that minus.

The exchange halted withdrawals after the hack and is now reopening them in stages. Not all networks and not all tokens are available yet.

A net inflow is the difference between what was deposited to the exchange and what was withdrawn from it. For a trader, the numbers show one thing: how freely you can currently take your money off the platform.

Where do the numbers come from?

Data source - the DefiLlama exchange panel. This is a service that tracks fund movements across platform wallets: inflow minus outflow.

  • +$1.82 billion - net inflow over 24 hours
  • $11.832 billion - net outflow over seven days
  • roughly one-sixth - that is how much of the weekly outflow the daily plus covers

What has already been reopened?

Withdrawals are being restored in stages. The exchange said it had restored dollar withdrawals and opened all 15 first groups of crypto networks. Withdrawals for a number of other tokens are still closed.

  1. The hack. After the attack, Binance halted withdrawals entirely.
  2. FBI assessment. The bureau estimates the scale of the incident at $6.3 billion and points to the DPRK. Pyongyang rejects the accusations.
  3. The XRP trail. Separately, they are tracking how the attacker split $292 million in XRP across six wallets.
  4. The sale rumor. A rumor about the exchange being sold circulated in the market: there is neither a buyer nor a document, and the text was reassembled from CZ's 2022 announcement of the FTX deal.

Market reaction. BNB lost 9.03% over 24 hours.

What does this mean for a trader?

This is a story about access to your money and about liquidity. While some networks are closed, some of the funds on the exchange are physically locked.

The main point: a weekly outflow of $11.8 billion means large holders are taking their balances away faster than they are being returned.
  • The nearest reference point - the opening of withdrawals for the remaining tokens
  • What to check in advance - where your trading capital sits and whether you can withdraw it today
  • An alternative to your own balance - the prop firm catalog and their payout terms

What next?

The exchange's next step - unblocking withdrawals for the tokens that are still closed. Until then, the weekly balance will remain negative.

  1. Networks. We watch how many groups will be opened after the first 15.
  2. Flows. Daily inflow matters only in comparison with the weekly outflow.
  3. BNB. After the 9.03% drop, the price remains an indicator of trust in the platform.

How payouts work on the prop firm side is explained in the academy.

Waited a week for withdrawals to open?

A familiar feeling: the market is moving, but your money is locked on one platform. All you can do is refresh the status page. Hence a simple thought: keeping your entire trading capital in one place and on your own balance is not much of a scheme. With prop firms, the capital is provided by the company itself: you pass a paid evaluation, trade its account and take an agreed share of the profit. It is easier to understand the mechanics now than in the next week with withdrawals closed.
