According to the SoSoValue analytics service, the week for Bitcoin funds was choppy: on October 19, an inflow of $526.6 million, on the 20th a modest $23.16 million, on the 21st the week's maximum — $528.4 million. Then a reversal: on October 22, minus $635.49 million, on the 23rd minus $137.94 million.

The positive result for the week held only thanks to the first three sessions. For comparison: a week earlier, investors withdrew more than $548 million from these same funds, so in total this is the first positive week after the sell-off.

Ethereum ETFs had their second negative week in a row. Outflows occurred in three out of five sessions: on October 19, minus $103.28 million, on the 20th minus $26.13 million, on October 22, minus $110.5 million. Two days of inflows — $14.96 million and $4.35 million — did not offset the losses.

In altcoin funds, the money was redistributed: the leader is the ZEC ETF with $41.09 million, followed by NEAR ($5.22 million), XRP ($4.25 million), LTC ($0.58 million). Losers were SOL ($17.3 million) and HYPE ($15.22 million), plus DOGE ($0.54 million). Funds on BNB, TRX, LINK, AVAX and DOT sat out the week with no capital movement, and no movements in crypto ETFs were recorded in Hong Kong either.

The conclusion is simple: institutional money has not left the market, but it has begun switching between assets faster — in a single session, more was pulled out of Bitcoin than two strong days brought in.

Saw these reversals and couldn't trade them?

When $635 million is pulled from funds in a single session, everyone feels the volatility — but the ones who make money are those whose position size allows them to take more than a couple dozen dollars off a move. A forecast is secondary here; the account denomination is what decides. Prop trading works like this: you pass an evaluation stage and trade the prop firm's account for a share of the profit, without comparable capital of your own. It makes sense to understand the mechanics on a calm week, not on the day of another outflow.
