This is the largest daily result since September 22, when $714.7 million flowed into the funds.

The entire inflow was made by one fund: IBIT from BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, received +$665.2 million - its best day since October 7, 2025.

Even after a strong Friday, October remains down by roughly $88 million.

For Ethereum the picture is the opposite: spot ETH ETFs gave back $103.3 million on the same day, of which $95.4 million came from the ETHA fund of the same BlackRock.

The entire inflow came from one fund: IBIT from BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, received +$665.2 million - its best day since October 7, 2025. The rest were in the red: $83.6 million was withdrawn from FBTC, $54.9 million from GBTC, and there was no money movement in the other funds.

Before that, there was a month of outflows. The week of October 5-9 took about -$679 million, the week of October 12-16 - -$228.4 million, and the worst day, October 7, produced -$484.9 million. Even after a strong Friday, October remains down by roughly $88 million.

The inflow coincided with a price rebound: BTC dropped to $80,000 and returned above $82,800, plus 1.47% in a day. Glassnode analysts note that seller pressure has eased, but a sustained return of spot demand is not yet visible.

For Ethereum, the picture is the opposite: spot ETH ETFs gave back $103.3 million on the same day, of which $95.4 million came from the ETHA fund of the same BlackRock. A week earlier, outflows totaled about $320 million, and that was the third losing week in a row. Institutional money is still choosing BTC rather than altcoins - and going forward, it's the daily fund statistics that are worth watching.

Did you watch BTC fight back from $80,000?

Everyone who had their terminal open that evening saw the rebound from $80,000 to $82,800. Only for BlackRock, a day like that is $665 million in a single move, while for you the same percentage turns into an amount that's even boring to lock in. The difference isn't in the analysis, but in the notional size you're allowed to risk. Prop trading lets you trade with the company's account: first you pass the challenge, then you work with its capital within its limits. It makes more sense to understand the mechanics before the next rebound like that.
